They don't work, but don't help (see: stating they'd watch my toddler while I showered and I find her walking down the street alone, at night, in South America.) Their house is flat out dangerous, and they spend most of the time we are there sleeping, shopping, or watching TV. When I spend thousands on plane tickets, and have to cram five of us into one room for three weeks, it becomes completely not worth it. [/quote]
