Which is why it is against FCPS to withhold recess. Sometimes teachers at our school aren't aware or choose to ignore this.  When my kids tell me, I'm quick to alert an administrator.

NP here. I'm definitely against withholding recess for any reason. However, I'm also curious, PP, since you're obviously a teacher, what you think is an appropriate consequence for misbehaving in class that isn't disruptive to the rest of the class?[/quote]
