I feel safe but also lock my car and home, and try not to leave valuables in my car overnight (esp if it's parked on the street). Most of the homes in the neighborhood do not have garages, so this means that cars that are left unlocked are more vulnerable here than in a neighborhood of garages. That said, the incidents are rare enough that it still causes discussion among neighbors when something does happen. [/quote]
