Actually,

If you were around when Jeff started the separate AAP section you would know that it was done based on requests for non-AAP parents like yourself who did not want to read about AAP or see any AAP posts in the VA schools forum.

Unfortunately, those who hated AAP and so vehemently lobbied Jeff for a separate AAP forum all followed along to the AAP forum and continued to post at a volume greater than those people who had actual questions about AAP.

The real question is what are the anti AAP crowd going to do with their time when they don't have AAP centers to complain about.  I imagine they will redirect all their energy to complaining about how their kid is not in the new LLIV classes that will likely be in every school as the replacement for AAP.

+1. This. I can't believe anyone thinks  things are going to magically get better in schools without Centers if there is suddenly one "smart" LLIV class a grade, and 4 GE classes. Of course all of the AAP Haters think there kids would be in LLIV, but math and logic say otherwise. Our ES was LLIV, and the AAP/ GE dynamics were nasty. It absolutely destroyed the community atmosphere. I can't believe people are rooting for it.  What's the curse?  May you get what you wish for. [/quote]
