You're totally on the right track, OP.  I esepcially love the Max Mara suit.  Modern but not showy.  Great look.

Stop by Nordstrom Rack regularly or order a bunch from them on line knowing you can return whatever doesn't work to the store and then look around while you're there.  I've found great stuff from them on-line.[/quote]
