[/quote] Same here, I read the first three Pern in 3rd grade, totally missed everything to do with humans having sex, but I did get that the dragons were doing things because there were eggs later. If you aren't sure that he's ready, perhaps try Warriors or Redwall. Because the characters are animals instead of humans, it can make it easier for some kids to tackle hard subjects.[/quote]
