Your Aunt is coming into town and she hasn't seen you in a few years. She doesn't want to put you in the awkward situation of having to entertain her or invite her over so she is bringing this friend along as a way to keep your visit together short but sweet. Go have coffee with your aunt. It's nice that she wants to see you and catch up w/o taking a bunch of your time. She sounds really sweet!
This hits the mark, OP. It's not weird or odd. Haven't you ever traveled somewhere and tried to fit in seeing more than one person you hoped to see? Logistically it's not always easy. So what if friend comes? Aunt's being cordial and you're responding with overthinking. If you were upset by the friend's presence because you craved a long, deep, intense, emotional catching-up discussion with aunt, that would be one thing. But you're not expecting that. So why act offended that a relative you've not seen for ages is coming to meet you and bringing along the person who is her host (and possibly her ride) for that weekend? Probably they're going on to somewhere else right after your coffee time so this is the easiest way to do two things that same morning. Enjoy the visit.
