They don't dry out my cheeks -- which tend toward being dry... and my nose/chin/forehead area is oily (as it sounds like OP's daughter is as well based on the black heads). My daughter has lovely little girl skin, except where it is pimply and blackhead-y. They work for her. I think there are two different versions of the clearasil pads. One is "ultra" and it has the salicilic acid and the regular version does not. We (I'm in my 40's and DD is 11) use the regular, not the ultra. It works. Worth a try.[/quote]
