maybe they could do an addition to add just a couple more classrooms for these years with extra kids? Build up?
What about a few trailers? Not to be snarky, but my kids are at Murch and there are full grades in trailers. I was skeptical at first but my oldest's 4th grade went great and 5th grade is also going strong, the fact that the classroom is in a trailer is not affecting the kids at all. It sure beat having 32 kids in a class IMO. my kids' classes at Murch have ranged so far between 16 to about 22-23max. Only one year one child was in a class of 25 (with one teacher and one full time aide) and it was the worst year, the number of kids really affected my child's experience in a negative manner. I think Janney parents should lobby with the school to have the 3rd grade rearranged and one more class should be created. as for the poster suggesting that the borders should be redrawn and Murch get part of Janney's boundary, I hope you are joking, Murch is already crowded and about to undergo a two year full renovation, really no need to get extra kids.
