ASK YOUR DOCTOR. Why does everyone treat DCUM like a g-d medical hotline? When something is amiss, seek medical advice! Why is this such a difficult concept?!
Not everyone has good health insurance and a doctor you can just call and ask questions. Sometimes it can take weeks to get a medical appt. In the meantime OP, go to target or a chain pharmacy and buy a blood glucose test kit. You can buy one for less than $25. Prick your finger with a lancet (buy them separate or buy the kit that includes them), put a drop of blood on test strip, insert it in blood sugar tester. Come back and tell us the number the monitor says. We will tell you what it means. It is a cheap, easy way to check to see if you might have diabetes.
