OP here. I am surprised by the difference in times! I should add that at 4:25 we are the last stop, but school ends almost an hour before that.
I might give it another week to see if it stays that way. This first week has been all right at our Tier 1 school, but last year the first week was a mess at the end of the day with buses showing up very late. The special ed buses were mostly OK but school ended at 3:05 and we were still putting general ed kids on the bus at 3:30--the poor secretary was fielding calls from parents wanting to know where the heck their kid was and having to tell them the bus was still loading at the school. It was a trickle-down problem with one of the routes at the middle school that eventually got smoothed out.
Thanks. I've noticed the neighborhood MS kids get dropped off at 3:30, so it's definitely an issue with that route (assuming it's the same bus or another bus with similar timings). I'll see how things go this week. It's not the end of the world, but I wish it wasn't so much wasted time. If they were in the classroom and learning for another 30min it would be okay. The idea that they are probably just lined up and waiting for at least 30minutes is frustrating.
