If you need to run or ride so fast that you can't stop you need to find a dedicated track. [/quote] No, on a multi-use trail the child's parent needs to be able to keep the child in arm's reach, ready to pull her back, during heavy use times, even when all other trail users are creeping along doing 15-minute miles.
