I used to watch that show growing up and liked the interaction between Robert Wagener and Stephanie Powers but man, then I saw a show about how Natalie Wood's sister really thinks Wagener really drowned his wife Natalie Wood on that boat and ... I can't really watch him in stuff anymore. He seems like another guy with an anger problem.
You now it was extremely tragic when Natalie Wood died. And I'm sure that she and Wagener were drinking and fighting, but if you read the coroner report, there's no indication that she was physically assaulted or purposefully drowned: http://documents.latimes.com/coroners-report-death-natalie-wood/ She has a few random bruises on her that who knows, could have happened when she fell off the dingy into the water or tripped on the gang plank. Just b/c a family member has difficulty grieving and had a public forum to accuse and denounce someone, doesn't mean it's true or that they're guilty.
Well it's not just Wood's sister. The ship captain came forward in 2011 and said he didn't say so at the time, but he thinks Wagener was responsible. They reopened the investigation, but Wagener wouldn't talk to the police, so they couldn't get enough info to charge him all these years later. http://radaronline.com/exclusives/2015/03/natalie-wood-drowning-robert-wagner-criminal-charges-unlikely/
Because he is trying to get $$$. He "wrote" a book for Pete's sake in 2009 BTW. You realize when only The National Enquirer, Radar-online, and other entertainment media is reporting on something, there probably isn't much credibility to the story. There's no head trauma, no sign of strangulation or bruising that would indicate someone purposefully drowned her. http://www.cnn.com/2013/01/14/showbiz/natalie-wood-coroner/
