If I were the husband I would only find it funny to a point.  After that point, if she was still allowing herself to recieve all these descriptive messages I would be pissed.   Maybe the OP likes the attention from someone famous?  If she was really trying to not let it escalate she would go off her past history with the guy and just completely remove him from her life. Okay, that is obviously you. She asked for how to word it so as not to escalate the situation. Projecting on to her life and situation isn't going to help anything. Maybe she thinks if she goes dark with him he might contact her in person, we don't know. Also does it seem like she is enjoying this attention? Really? Also there are ALOT of old baseball players out there that no one would give a second glance to let alone recognize as "famous" so again, maybe calm down.[/quote]
