3 and 5 also! Boston (Children's Museum, family, the common) and Ocean City. Can't wait for Europe with them. Nova Scotia sounds awesome. Were there flights involved? Tell about that and the hotels...[/quote]

And I can't wait to take the kids to Boston! We flew into Halifax, rented a car, flew out of Sydney. We stayed at these places:

The Cape Breton National Park was really great and many hikes were appropriate for little kids. The exchange rate was great so it ended up being more affordable than expected. I also think it would have been nice to fly into Charlottetown PEI, rent a car, then fly out of either Sydney or Halifax. [/quote]
