I'm a B and seem to attract As by the boatload. Not sure why. I am as upfront as possible and try to be self deprecating, but I make it clear they really should have no expectations of me as a friend. I show up when you need me - I'm good at that, but I suck at birthdays. Being on time. Keeping my BBQ plans. All that stuff is out the door. So unjust lay it out- and if the harm around they deal.
This.
ul I'm a B who can be on time and keep plans. I don't think a Type B means being rude and irresponsible!
+1 I'm type B for sure - I prefer to be part of a team working toward a goal than the chair of the event, and I'm not a planner socially but give me a task or invite me along and I'm very reliable. I can always be counted on and am a very good, attentive friend. I do have type A friends and I think they appreciate that I'm mellow and not always striving for something higher - I try to be in the moment and it helps calm down some of my A friends, I think. And they inspire me to up my game.
