He had the chance to see her when he was nearby, but for whatever reason he didn't. Now, a month later he regrets not getting a chance to catch up with her. So he's planning a trip to visit. Look, clearly we are missing out on something because no one can figure out why you're so upset. Do you have kids and he'd be leaving you alone with them for a weekend and you're not ok with this? Do either of you work every other weekend and you are annoyed that you're missing out on a weekend together? I mean, if you want to give us more context then perhaps we can give you better advice.
