Op here. Thank you for the links. Maybe i am just cheap or just so fed with lost things. (like how can you come home empty handed and forgot where your whole backpack is with clothes, waterbottle, lunch bag etc) like even whenyou get on the bus, you will realize opps, i am not carrying anything! I spent $5.99 at the thrift store and got the newish looning lunch Container (0.99 for 2), insulated lunch bag with another kids name on it! (0.99), used water bottle (0.99) and used back pack (2.99)
That's crappy to get a lunch box with another kids name on it. Send her with cheap ziplock containers, a $5-15 backpack and a few dollar water bottle. And, shop clearances and sales and buy extra if you think you'll need it as well as for the future.
Puh-lease. We do this all the time. My kids don't care because they know what great deals they can get because we shopped consignment/thrift/yard sales. We just put our label (Mabel's Labels) over the name - or not. Sometimes the kids get a Sharpie and just cross out the previous name. The names are usually in an inconspicuous spot so no one sees it unless they're looking for it. They much prefer carrying the used, high quality, snazzy backpacks with the old name crossed out than the cheap ones from ToysRUs or Five Below.
