It is not illegal for a 14-year-old to misrepresent her age on a dating app or (as far as I know) to use a dating app. It is illegal for a 19-year-old to have sexual contact with a 14-year-old. Now, if you want to change the laws to make it illegal for a 14-year-old to misrepresent her age on a dating app...[/quote]
