Well, my Hubby is, and I can tell you from experience that the Transition was a difficult one in many ways. Though we are very blessed in our new situation, it did involve new friends, a new house, new foods, and a new and enriched Etiquette. Anonymous fora can be a Godsend in this regard.[/quote]

But not all Executive roles are the same are they?  They don't all earn the same money, they don't all travel/socialize the same amount.  They certainly don't all live in the same houses and eat the same food. I would imagine a lot depends on the industry type too.  And hasn't the family been around during the Executive's ascent, too?  It seems they would be somewhat used to the routine already??
