We could go back and forth all day on what the exact situation is, which poster think the OP is being 100% accurate, but it really comes down to this. OP, you aren't listed in the will, and you aren't executor. Con: it will be almost impossible for you to get anything from the estate of the deceased person, fund, mementos, jewelry, etc. Pro: you have zero legal obligation to pay for anything.
