She's supposed to fly home on Wed, and I admit I was looking forward to a couple weeks with my SIL (who has her own house here). Now it looks like I will be spending that with my mother trying to keep her out of the hospital, then driving home and getting my daughter ready for her first year of college out of state.

I can't begin to tell you how much I needed this time to decompress. I can't continue this pace for much longer without physical collapse - the shit has been hitting the fan for damn near two years and I finally saw a bit of light at the end of the tunnel.

Good chance after we get my daughter off to school, I'm going to take off for a few days by myself somewhere.
