You can call the school to find out if your child is a walker of bus rider.  The bus schedules are usually mailed about a week or less before school starts.  At our ES, class assignments usually come out the night before school starts or the night before open house the Friday before school starts.  At our school, they are posted on the entry doors by teacher listing First names and last initial.   [/quote]

Not impressed by the fact that it is the 11th largest school system in the country. But since they just called me to get me off the wait list for before care, I am forced to make a call as to whether I need before care without knowing when the buses leave.  Providing parents, some of whom are just moving to the area, with last years schedule to give them an idea shouldn't be the hardest thing in the world even for a school system that is only the 11th largest school system.[/quote]
Hedge you bets,  sign up for before care you can always quit if it works out with the bus.  Bus schedules have been known to change after school starts. [/quote]
