Interesting that this is your response given that the article is from the Daily Mail.  
Perhaps the associate didn’t know what the ISIS flag looks like. Perhaps s/he did. 
Who knows.  The manager claims it was ignorance on the part of the employee.

[b]they must not read the news at all, [/b]or barely even watch television if they don't know what the flag looks like.  But, in all honesty, it is NOT an "ISIS" flag.  It is just a replica of the flag (aka "black standard") that was carried by Muhammad during his conquests.  It simply says:  “There is no god but God, Muhammad is the messenger of God.” - the white circle represents the seal of Muhammad.

I do as well. But the media I peruse tells me about ISIS, including showing photos of the flag. I would definitely have recognized it. Why doesn't your media do the same?[/quote]
