The progesterone was prescribed bc of the miscarriages. I don't have a known deficiency. So I took it for 3 cycles, but it seemed to just mess up my cycles. Also I had a scare where I passed a lot of tissue, thinking I had yet another miscarriage there was so much and the dr. Thought it was related to the progesterone building up my lining. I know it's supposed to delay a period and lengthen l phase, but they thought I needed it to keep from miscarrying in the 1st trimester. I had Fertile mucus day 7 and 14 ish around the opk positives. My temp went up day 16ishof my cycle, when the bleeding/spottig started. Today the spotting is maybe 3 wipes of quarter size blood the entire day. So not a period but not nothing either. It's everytime I wipe.
Have you had your progesterone levels checked during your pregnancies and during your cycle, post ovulation? (I think day 19 and 21 are the days to test it.) If you have low progesterone you don't want to stop taking your supplement because it's going to help you get pregnant and stay pregnant. If I were you, I'd assume it is low and keep taking the progesterone if your TTC.
