Pam Geller's determination to spread hate has just cost METRO millions of dollars. In response to Geller's desire to run ads displaying a cartoon of Muhammad, METRO has decided to stop accepting issue ads for the rest of the year. METRO is not allowed to pick and choose among issue ads, so it had to accept Geller's ad it reject all issue ads.
Really, what hate are you talking about? The cartoon she wants to display shows Muhammed say "You can't draw me" and a cartoonist replying "That is why I must draw you." I'm old enough to remember when Metro carried ads showing a photo of Ronald Reagan laughing, with scenes of poverty superposed behind him. I remember being proud that Metro allowed a diversity of opinion, and I am sad to see that they have abandoned this.
