according to some parents, the kids were just "expressing" themselves.  This is why I would spank my 8 yr old for speaking to me or any adult disrespectfully.  If a kid thinks he can speak to a parent this way, the kid will have no problems speaking to any adult this way, probably even a cop.  Parents need to control this kind of thing early on.[/quote]
