NP here.  Assuming this is true, so what?  They are a small school trying to grow their interesting program.  What's the difference if they start a thread or not?  It seems like there are a couple of DCUM posters who respond with a certain degree of vitriol towards the school.  It makes me wonder whether their kid was rejected or something.  (FWIW, we considered the school but decided it wasn't right for us, so I don't really have a dog in this fight.)[/quote]

Another NP here. I remember some of the boosterish Feynman posts of the past - and OP's post doesn't fit that mold. If this was the Feynman booster, it would have read something like this: "we visited and gosh those kids seem smart, but we liked it so much we're wondering if our 125 IQ DD will fit in." Or something similarly gushing along the lines of your basic Holton post. I get the impression the Feynman boosters, when they got a bad response here, were smart enough to learn to stop.  (We don't have any connection to Feynman either.)[/quote]
