There of course are friendships that have formed before kids enter a teachers classroom and in that case I appreciate knowing this ahead of time so we can utilize a different teacher. But becoming BFF's with the room mom can cause lots of problems and I've seen it in multiple schools in all sorts of communities. So because of this preference of mine I am extra careful to set the same example.[/quote]
