We have rules in our house for our eight year old DS re: what can be worn to school: 1. Clean 2. Weather appropriate/ activity approriate (e.g. Tennis shoes for PE) 3. It has to match (I'm somewhat loose on this one) An entire face covered in face paint wouldn't make the cut. It's okay to tell your child "no." It won't crush their spirit if you give them logical reasons for your decision. [/quote]
