[/quote] Funny enough I was at one of his shows and he said "here is the first country song I ever wrote...." and he started into "Only Want To Be with You"- bringing me right back to sophomore year HS! :) But when I think about it much of his Hootie stuff and current solo stuff sounds very similar- the southern University rock- alt- country jam band sounds of the 90s definitely have some country roots and some country artists now come out of that scene and it all kind of blends together. I like Darius's songs mostly. "This" is one of my faves.[/quote]
