OP, I think it's sweet that your mom raised you thinking you're the most important in the world to her,and that you believed it. But really..let her have a life of her own. You obviously have not seen this friend in like 10 years, so you should not be so emotionally attached to her that not seeing her to show off presents a drastic crisis in your life. Go bowling or something. [/quote]
