If you really think he is capable of getting 5s across the board on AP tests, how much benefit do you think he'd get from the classes? I think he'd be far better off at a selective DCPS high school, such as Banneker or SWW.[/quote] Yeah, and even if you didn't want/couldn't do Banneker or SWW, or wanted the experience of a non-Wilson HS...it can't be that hard to OOB into Eastern which, at least, has an IB program. I think it's still small and new enough that a kid as driven as this could be a big fish in a small pond but at least he'd have teachers with a bit more experience teaching advanced classes and more students able to fill seats in those classes.[/quote]
