Poured concrete to stop setting and weeds? Properly laid pavers sits on top of fabric barrier, compacted gravel base and coarse sand. If any significant settling occurs despite the compacting, the pavers are lifted up and more coarse sand is added. No one in their right mind puts poured concrete below pavers. [/quote]
