It feels like DCPS is "afraid" of Charter Sports programs. They don't want them competing against their students. The won't even let Charter schools use their outdoor facilities most times. It really is too bad.
If the DCPS is using their own facility, how can the charters also use them? During football, basketball, baseball and track season, the kids practice everyday right after school.
I was referring to times the facilities are not being used. They were/are not being used everyday from 3-7pm. The point is, even when/if they are not using them, they don't allow the Charters to use them.
Charters could pay for a use agreement like everyone else does. Do you expect them to get the use of the building/insurance/maintenance for free?
