E.g., if she can't seem to set up the problem or represent it in some way, if she can't figure out ir explain why, then I'm guessing its a conceptual thing. Also, I see my kid can do certain computations tasks just fine if she's careful and pays attention, so in that case I know adding and subtracting isn't the problem.
