So perhaps your child should not be going to the types of events where lines are required until you have worked with them to resolve their 'difficulties?' I can respect your MILs situation, but don't make excuses for your kid being an asshole. Regardless of whether you have some 'diagnosis' about why said child is an asshole, the world involves waiting in lines, and raising your child to think they can avoid it and others, who do not have said 'difficulties' will accommodate them is incorrect. Your response to those who don't want to accommodate them -  "sorry if it upsets you" explains why your kid is in asshole - you are, too. [/quote]
