Gray is a neutral that has been popular for several years now.  Even if it's "trendy," most people repaint their bedrooms every 5-8 years or so and if you choose a lighter shade of gray, it will not be difficult to paint over.

I'd rather paint my rooms colors I like and repaint them 7 years later to a new color I like than constantly live in a world of cream or beige for fear of my own room being too trendy.  I'm not sure who is going to care if my bedroom walls are trendy except buyers and I'm not looking to sell anytime soon.

Yep! Can we stop saying gray is trendy?? I just love it. Gray has so many different shades. (LOL!)

I personally dislike yellow in a bedroom. I'm redoing my bedroom in "Toasted Almond". I normally go with Sherwin Williams colors, but I really love that one. Goes well with my white, blue and gold accessories. [/quote]
