I understood what he was saying, perfectly.  His roommate got into college with an inflated GPA and bombed out.  What was your difficulty, PP?  Just looks like autocorrect got in there -- not a showstopper for folks who understand English.  [/quote]

Or maybe his mother had cancer, he could not deal failed his classes and moved back home. 
Maybe he drank too much because his tiger mom was no longer there to control his every move.
Maybe he had an illness that he find not disclose to his roommate and had to move home.
