Why in the world are they a young person item?  Not being snarky, I honestly am bewildered why people think this.  They are BOOTS, not micro-minis!  I'm 45 and wear them all the time; have no plans to stop.

I never get these posts where people seem to think that once you're over 40, you can't wear all sorts of perfectly reasonable clothes.

I like Uggs, don't see them as childish...who makes up these rules anyway? Probably the same folks who say women of a particular shouldn't wear skirts above their knees or wear long hair, etc...wear what makes you comfortable...and by the way...do you notice older men don't abide by any rules about what they want to wear?[/quote]
