So if there are three houses in the same neighborhood at the same price point, I'm going to reduce what I'm willing to pay for the one with the yucky stuff because I have to come up with the cash for new countertops/appliances/wallpaper removal, etc. The odds also are that if there's still a coil stove, there's a million other things that also need updating. Usually very little else has been touched. [/quote]
