Thank you, this makes me feel better. I am 26 with one root canal, possibly two more scheduled for tomorrow.  I will have to get a number of fillings.  I'm thrilled for all the people on here with perfect teeth but I have had serious health issues regarding my mouth that caused my teeth to decay, and every single member of my immediate family has had to get at least one root canal (my youngest brother is 20).  Ethnically we are British so I wonder if there is something to be said for the Brits have weaker teeth stereotype. Also of note I am fastidious about brushing my teeth, floss daily, and often get complimented about how perfect and white my teeth look.  So not everyone with fillings/root canals would appear as such.[/quote]
