The doctors, on the other hand, I have been less than impressed with. I almost feel like they don't have time for me because I have not had any complications (seeing them due to AMA and IVF). The first appointment Dr. Ghidini actually took me back to his office and wrote down the statistical differences for pregnancy complications for IVF vs. "normal" conceptions, which felt a little over the top to me. Met with Dr. Poggi once - asked her about some sharp hip pain I had been experiencing and she told me "that's just part of the aches and pains of being pregnant" in a super condescending tone. I was fully dressed when she came in, so when we were done talking I got up and was following her out of the room - well, until she shut the door in my face. I have another appointment there on Friday morning, totally dreading it![/quote]
