[/quote] Same here, arrived when they were in their 45 minute reading block, daughter had a book the thickness of a pamphlet she had already read. Teacher was working with a group of students, she was supposed to do "free wrting" she was not given a topic so she was chillaxing with a pal writing silly sentences. I'm talking like ONE silly sentence. My older daughters pre-2.0 teacher had them writing poetry, creating books (appropriate for their age level), she told me when she gets a word list she draws a picture of the word, has exercises where they find the the "i" in a word. It's pre-school work and ridiculous.[/quote]
