How many players do you need for a LAX team?
Same as soccer
No, mom. There are 11 players on the field for a soccer team. There are 10 players on the field for a lacrosse team. Don't pretend like you know anything about lacrosse.
Oh for god's sake, I didn't mean the same number on the field. The poster asked how many players you need for a lax team, not a game. In order to have subs, and enough players to cover absences, for a TEAM, you need at least 14-20 players for a soccer or a lacrosse team. So, yeah, you need the same number of kids as you do for soccer, albeit perhaps a few more for lax due to switching in and out of middies and a possible (boys) FOGO, than a soccer team. One of my kid plays both at an elite level and the soccer team has 16 players and lacrosse team has 18. You don't have to be so technical. This isn't an article for Lax magazine. You sound like the same a$$ who makes disparaging remarks on all of the lax threads to "moms who know nothing about lax." Go crawl back under your rock you cretin.
