Landon parent here. Parents from all back rounds. Some I don't have a lot in common with...but, one thing we do have in common. We want the best for our sons. Community centers around that common goal. I have other kids at other schools... What makes Landon really, really stand out is that I drive into that campus and I know almost everyone I pass on the white rock road... I know their mothers and fathers. I know the teachers who coach my son. I have sat down with all of them. Sometimes in a formal setting and sometimes over BBQ. Headmaster I see every day, sometimes he is seen playing catch with the boys...he retires this year. Expectations are high...morally and academically. The boys that do well ,try not to disappoint. No one expects a finished product what they do expect is that you, Do your best,do it with honor, and do the right thing. Really loving Landon.
Have they taught your son how to cheat on the SAT yet? Or how to be a misogynist?
So tiring. My son is there. We are very happy with the school. It's very rigorous in all areas. I am very confident he will be academically prepared for college. More importantly, character is very much a part of the education. It's a wonderful place and my son is happy to go to school every day. There is an intangible character to many boys schools, Landon for sure, that I think can be really important for boys and their development. You do these kind, hard working, honorable boys a disservice with your remarks.
