Really?? It is 2014??  Well  haven't you heard? In the Islamic calendar, we are in the year 1435  :P  I think you brought the middle ages into this discussion, nobody even came close to mentioning it. And if you think that no other religion is "s barbaric or has spawned such radicals as Islam" you clearly do not know much about history. Now since you clearly stated that you have no interest in learning more about the Quran and that you know the basics but still have no other interests than the basics, I really don't see why you are part of a discussion you have no interest in.
