I've seen INS haul people off of city buses who looked Mexican and couldn't produce proper iD. Anyway, as another PP pointed out, the issue isn't going to Canada, it's getting back into the US. They will want to see their passports and their green cards. Don't risk being detained at the border unnecessarily.[/quote]
