Madison is the state capital so many government jobs, law firms, lobbying, associations. There are also many research opportunities with all the grad schools. Many hospitals and tech startups. Epic Software is a big employer in the area and even Google and Microsoft have offices. Lots of news stations, Madison magazine, and online and newspapers. [/quote]
