Sometimes, w/ my kiddo, behaviors just start and then they develop into a habit. I think it could be solved w/ a mixture of 1) explanation (how you love him, how he loves you, how we need to show that we care about each other, etc) 2) good relationship building (an activity that he enjoys that you could do w/ him and bond over, just the two of you) and 3) practice (exactly what you expect from him and praise (and maybe some little rewards) for doing what is expected in a fun, loving way.)[/quote]
